- Interpret and evaluate test results
- Prepare inspection reports
- Guide Level I technicians
Common NDT Methods Offered at Level II
- Candidates usually certify in one or more of the following methods:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) – internal defect detection using sound waves
- Radiographic Testing (RT) – X-ray / Gamma ray inspection
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) – surface/sub-surface flaws in ferromagnetic materials
- Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) – surface crack detection
- Visual Testing (VT) – visual inspection to standards
Who Can Enroll?
Open to undergraduates, fresh graduates, and diploma holders in: Mechanical, Automobile, Aeronautical, Metallurgical / Metallurgy & Material Technology, Marine, Petroleum, Petrochemical Engineering
Job Roles After NDT
